5/28 CBS2 Thursday Morning Weather Headlines
By Giorgio Panetta,
CBS2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer
Good morning all,
Another warm start to the day that is going feel more like late July, than late May. The coolest reading will only drop into the upper 50s.
Expect another round of storms today, especially in the afternoon. Really, anywhere is at risk this afternoon. The NWS has placed us in a very slight risk for severe weather. But I believe the storms will be more widespread in nature, but less severe.
The extra clearing in the afternoon will only fuel storms with diurnal heating. Friday is cooler with less humidity, while the Saturday is looking like the better half.
Cooler weather returns next week. Check back in soon for the latest.
