NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for a man accused of choking a woman and sexually assaulting her in Brooklyn Saturday evening.

A 59-year-old woman was sitting on a park bench on Eastern Parkway when she says was approached by a man who started talking to her around 6 p.m., police said

When the woman stated she needed to find a bathroom, the man led her to an apartment building on Albany Avenue, police said. The man then directed her to the basement stairwell where police say he choked her and forced her to perform oral sex, police said.

Police say the man forced her to the basement where he continued to choke the woman until she passed out. Once she woke up, he again forced her to perform oral sex, police said.

The suspect eventually fled and EMS responded to the scene, police said. The woman was treated and released at the hospital, police said.

The suspect is described as a black man, approximately 60 years old, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, and 200 pounds. He has a Caribbean accent and has a scarred and discolored eye.
