Police: Woman Dies After Being Thrown From Car In Brooklyn Crash

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are investigating a crash in Brooklyn that left a woman dead.

Just before 4 a.m. Tuesday, officers on patrol came upon the scene of a crash involving a Honda Civic on Saint John's Place.

Police said the car was headed east on Saint John's Place between Rogers Avenue and Nostrand Avenue when it hit several parked cars before coming to a stop.

The driver, a 20-year-old man, was found still inside the car, police said. The passenger, a 20-year-old woman, was ejected from the rear window and found lying in the road, police said.

The woman was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. The driver was also taken to the hospital in stable condition.

So far, no arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
