The Dynamic Radio Duo that is Boomer Esiason and Craig Carton got after it early on Wednesday morning, as they collectively looked forward to Wednesday's "True Blue" charity softball game at Yankee Stadium, which has understandably put a little extra pep in everyone's step.

In addition to the excitement generated by tonight's great event in the Bronx, the Yankees won a thriller in extra innings out in Seattle, the Bombers' second win in a row after dropping three of four in Oakland.

As for the Mets, they didn't fare so well in San Diego Wednesday night, despite getting 10 strikeouts from Noah Syndergaard, who also yielded 10 hits and seven runs in his four innings of work.  The real story drawing interest with regards to the Mets occurred off the field when David Wright spoke with a collection of reporters and addressed his uncertain health situation.

So Boomer and Craig discussed the Yankees' clutch hitting, speculated on what CC Sabathia will contribute moving forward, wondered if perhaps Wright's playing days might be behind him, all the while of course counting down to tonight's first pitch...
