6/17 CBS2 Wednesday Afternoon Weather Headlines

Sunshine and a few clouds are expected this afternoon. It will be generally nice with lower humidity levels and high near 80°.

Some more clouds will fill in tonight. It looks like the evening stays quiet, but into the overnight hours as we approach daybreak we could see a little light rain or a shower here or there, but mainly to our south and inland. Lows will be in the low 60s.

Some showers will impact the morning commute... best bet across southern/inland areas. Activity should diminish into the afternoon hours with the city seeing mostly cloudy skies and cooler temps in the low to mid 70s.

A cold front will clear the area early Friday morning allowing for higher pressure to build during the day. Skies will be mostly sunny into the afternoon with highs in the low to mid 80s.

High pressure will move just to our north and east on Saturday... keeping the forecast dry for now.
