6/20 CBS2 Saturday Morning Weather Headlines

Good morning everyone!

Clouds will increase this morning as a stationary front slides across the Tri-State. Some showers could pop-up this afternoon as it lifts through the area. Expect a highly humid day as you will feel the tropical moisture on the skin.

Overnight Saturday into Sunday morning, the bulk of the wet weather will hit us. Could see 1-3" of rain across the area. It looks like the heavier rain will be headed south of the NYC Metro area. However, skies DO look to clear out for the second half of the day, and hopefully we see some sun.

Monday is quite hot with temps running close to 90°.

A few pop-up storms are possible Tuesday with temps in the upper 80s as well.
