Police Search For Man Accused Of Groping Woman On 'R' Train

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are searching for a man accused of groping a woman on the R Train in Brooklyn earlier this month.

The incident happened around 5:30 p.m. on June 10.

The 31-year-old victim was traveling on the southbound R Train approaching DeKalb Avenue when the suspect approached her and touched her thigh and buttocks, police say.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 35 years old, 5'7 to 5'8" and 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call Crime stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
