6/29 CBS2 Monday Morning Weather

Happy Monday morning, all! It's going to be a much warmer day overall, and for most, much brighter as well. We'll start off with partial sunshine and that will be the case through the day...maybe more cloudiness in the Lower Hudson Valley. We'll finally get back to 80 degrees for the high temp!

Tomorrow starts off the return of unsettled weather. It will be warmer and more humid with a high of 84 and a chance for afternoon thunderstorms. Some could be strong/severe...and we'll have the same story Wednesday evening. Wednesday and Thursday will be similarly warm with temps in the low 80s, and there could be some leftover showers Thursday morning.

As of now, Friday looks okay. By that, we mean a mix of sun and clouds and conditions remaining dry through most of the day. A frontal system in the area may spoil the fun though, and there is a chance for a few showers Friday night/Saturday morning...For now outdoor plans & fireworks viewing look good. We will keep you updated on the important holiday weekend forecast as we get closer to it!
