6/30 CBS2 Tuesday Afternoon Weather Headlines

By Justin Lewis
CBS2 Meteorologist

A few showers and thunderstorms will pop this afternoon, mainly across inland areas. And while most of these storms will be rather tame, we can't rule out an isolated severe storm. Otherwise, expect mostly to partly sunny skies with highs in the low 80s.

A few more showers and storms will linger into tonight with the strongest of storms confined to inland areas. Lows will be right around 70°.

We're keeping in a chance of showers/storms tomorrow with the best bet during the morning and early afternoon hours... some leftovers for the remainder of the afternoon, especially north of the city. And with a south/southwest wind filling in, it will feel a little sticky out there. Highs tomorrow will be in the low 80s once again.

There will still be a chance of some wet weather into Thursday, especially south and east of the city. Highs will still be in the low 80s.

At this point, Friday is looking mainly dry for any holiday travelers... will keep you updated over the next few days.

Check back for more on this week.
