7 Suffer Minor Injuries In Early Morning Queens Fire

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Two firefighters and five other people sustained minor injuries in an early morning fire at a home in Queens.

The fire broke out around 3:17 a.m. Tuesday on a deck of a home in Ozone Park and quickly spread to an attached house, investigators said.

Five civilians were taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Two firefighters also were injured; one went to the hospital.

The fire was brought under control at 4:27 a.m.

The cause of the blaze has not yet been determined.
