7/7 CBS2 Tuesday Afternoon Weather Headlines

By  Justin Lewis
CBS2 Meteorologist

We'll see more in the way of showers and storms this afternoon with the potential for isolated flooding. It will be even stickier than yesterday... mid afternoon "feels like" temps near 90°!

Expect a leftover shower/storm during the first half of the evening with things winding down thereafter. It will be another mild and muggy one with a low in the mid 70s.

A front will approach tomorrow and touch off another round of showers and storms. Some of these showers/storms could pack a punch... flash flooding possible once again. It will be warm and muggy with highs in the mid to upper 80s.

A frontal boundary will still be nearby on Thursday... will have to monitor to see if we're in for another round of unsettled weather... may even hold off until the nighttime. Highs will be a touch cooler in the low 80s.

As for Friday, high pressure should begin to settle in and bring us one of the nicest days of the week!
