7/9 CBS2 Thursday Evening Weather Headlines

Good evening all,

If you're planning on being out for the remainder of the evening, make sure to bring your rain gear and be prepared for some potentially severe weather. Rain, heavy at times, thunderstorms and even some flash flooding are possible as a slow-moving low rumbles through our area.

But by tomorrow, conditions greatly improve with a high of 85° and clearing skies -- perfect weather for the parade to honor the Women's Soccer Team.

And if you've been eager to get outside, this is certainly the weekend to do so. The city will be sunny with highs in the upper 80s both Saturday and Sunday, and the weather at the beaches and mountains looks just as promising.

With highs in the 80s both north and south of our area whether you choose to break out your bathing suit or your hiking boots you should be in for beautiful weather.
