Group Of Bike Riding Teens Allegedly Spent Friday Groping Their Way Through Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for some teens on bikes who allegedly spent Friday morning groping women on the street in Brooklyn.

On Friday around 7:50 a.m., police say the teens rode up to a 33-year-old woman across from 122 Tillary St. and grabbed her buttocks and chest, CBS2's Alice Gainer reported.

Authorities said the teens kept riding up Tillary Street and about five minutes later allegedly found their next victim a woman entering a diner on Adams Street.

The woman's backside was grabbed, a witness reported the incident.

Surveillance video shows them riding by, knocking down outdoor signs in the process.

"It's something that you kind of have to be aware of unfortunately. It's kind of scary," Rebecca Swiech said, "I've had tons of comments, but usually they keep their hands to themselves, so that's really disappointing."

"There needs to be something else going on so that young people can be proactive and do activities so they don't be outside doing these things," Samantha Johnson said.

A half-an-hour later a 31-year-old woman was grabbed from behind near 625 Bergen Street, and 40 minutes after that a 29-year-old woman was groped near Fifth Avenue and Flatbush Avenue.

"They're teenagers. That's what they do," Kim Blanks said, "Everybody's gotta do the best they can to stay safe/ Just be careful, watch your back."

And she means "watch your back" literally.

Police continued to search for the suspects late Monday.
