Thursday's action-packed edition of the Boomer & Carton Morning Extravaganza began with the guys discussing some news from the NFL, after the league's deadline for franchise-tagged players to sign long-term deals passed without the Giants and Jason Pierre-Paul reaching an agreement.

Boomer and Craig did some speculating, agreeing that this is actually a good thing for the Giants, who could still sign the injured pass-rusher, but in theory at a very reduced rate.  Craig would like to see the Giants use the scratch they had earmarked for Pierre-Paul to lock Eli Manning up on a long-term deal, as the two-time Super Bowl MVP is entering the final year of his current contract.

Moving right along to last night's ESPYs, which featured an appearance by none other than Caitlyn Jenner, which Craig was very excited for, but disappointed with what it turned out to be.
