Suspect Sought In Shooting That Killed Man In Flatbush-Ditmas Park

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police were searching Thursday night for a gunman who shot and killed a man in Flatbush-Ditmas Park, Brooklyn this week.

Officers were called at 12:49 a.m. Wednesday to East 17th Street and Newkirk Avenue in Brooklyn, where they found Adetunji Ajakaye, 25, unconscious and unresponsive in the front seat of a black BWM sedan, police said.

Ajakaye had suffered numerous gunshot wounds, police said.

He was rushed to Kings County Hospital Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Police on Thursday released surveillance video of a suspect in the shooting. He was described as wearing white sneakers and dark clothing.
