Police: New Jersey Burglary Suspect Hid Under Bed For Three Days

SPOTSWOOD, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Police have released details of a bizarre burglary that occurred earlier this year in New Jersey.

Jason Hubbard was arrested on May 10 after police received a 911 call about an intruder at a home on Ellenel Boulevard in Spotswood.

Hubbard got into the house through the front door while the homeowner was taking out the garbage, police said.

He then hid under a bed in a spare bedroom for three days until the homeowner heard a noise, found him and called police, Spotswood Police said.

Hubbard is charged with burglary, criminal trespass and theft of service for allegedly charging his four cell phones while hiding under the bed.
