7/26 CBS2 Sunday Morning Weather Headlines
By Mark McIntyre, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer
Good mornin' folks! The weather, it'll be a-changin'...a mild start today with a few clouds will give way a much warmer afternoon. Partly sunny skies and highs in the upper 80s...along with slightly higher humidity and a chance for scattered thunderstorms.
Not looking like a soggy day, but a few storms could be strong with gusty winds and briefly heavy rain - so just be mindful of that. Wanna beat the heat? Go to the beach! It'll be nice & warm but with a high risk of rip currents & a high UV index. Still, with water temps in the mid 70s, should be a nice way to cool down!
There's another chance for storms tomorrow with temps in the mid 80s. Again, a few storms could be strong. We'll turn the furnace back on Tuesday with temps getting back to 90 and beyond through Thursday! It'll also be more humid - not quite as bad as last week though - and we could be dealing with the first heat wave of 2015...stay tuned for more details on that!
