Beach Patrol Reminds Visitors That Deep Holes Are Prohibited In Harvey Cedars

HARVEY CEDARS, N.J.(CBSNewYork) -- There was a warning Monday night, for anyone who likes to dig holes on the beach.

A 6-ft deep hole was found at Harvey Cedars beach on Long Beach Island.

The beach patrol said digging holes deeper than knee height is prohibited, and that the uncovered hole could have resulted in an injury.
