Good Evening All,

The heat remained the top story today with a high of 96° in Central Park with real feels in the upper 90s. Tonight it remains hot with lows in the upper 70s and even 80° in some spots.

And while a cold front does pass through tomorrow, it doesn't bring much relief, only the chance for some showers and maybe even a thunderstorm with a high of 90°.

So what does the passage of this cold front do for us? Well it drops the humidity for Friday and the weekend, even though temperatures will remain in the upper 80s/low 90s.

Both Saturday and Sunday have sunny skies and warm, but not as extreme temperatures, so if you have been planning a beach or mountain escape, this weekend looks like the perfect weekend to do it!
