Video Shows Woman Stealing Dog From NJ Driveway
HACKENSACK, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Police in New Jersey are looking for a woman who stole a dog from the owner's driveway -- and it was all caught on video.
As CBS2's Hazel Sanchez reports, the video clearly shows a woman walking up the driveway on Stanley Place in Hackensack, call to the Pomeranian then picks her up and walks away.
The dog's owner, Andrea Whitelock, says she was heartbroken when she realized Diamond, who she had let outside for a few minutes, was missing. But she was even more shocked when she checked her surveillance footage.
Now Whitelock is pleading with the woman who took Diamond to return her.
"I just want her to bring her back," Whitelock said. "We love her, we've grown so attached to her. We just want you to bring her back."
If anyone knows anything about Diamond's whereabouts or the woman who took her, please call police.
