8/3 CBS2 Monday Morning Weather

By Mark McIntyre, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good Monday morning, folks! It's a warm one out there this morning with many spots already starting in the 70s...and temps will only go up! We're looking at a hot & more humid high of 91 today! A few showers/rumbles are possible this afternoon but most of those should stay north/west of town. If you wanna head to the beach, just be aware that rip current risks are moderate to high for area shores, and the UV index will be up there too!

Morning Planner

Expect a pretty similar day tomorrow with mostly sunny skies, high temps in the upper 80s and low 90s, and elevated humidity - but it won't be anything like last week's sauna! Wednesday looks very nice with mid 80s and lower humidity.

Morning Rip Currents

The cooling trend should continue to end the week, down to the upper 70s/low 80s, along with a few chances for showers/storms as a few impulses swing through...Check back soon to see if we can salvage the weekend!
