Radio.com Staff

Gwen Stefani has filed for divorce from Gavin Rossdale, according to TMZ.

Stefani and Rossdale first met when their respective bands, No Doubt and Bush, toured together in 1995; they wed in 2002. They have three children together: Kingston James McGregor Rossdale, 9, Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale, 6 and Apollo Bowie Flynn Rossdale, 1.

According to the site, both have filed for joint custody.

The couple filed a joint statement explaining how the split will effect the children, "While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment."

In an interview with Ellen DeGeneres last year, Stefani spoke about her relationship with Rossdale, saying, "We're like everybody else, we go through our cycles… It's crazy. I can't believe I've known him as long as I have. And that we still have fun together."
