New 'Late Show With Stephen Colbert' Marquee Unveiled At Ed Sullivan Theater

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The Ed Sullivan Theater marquee has gotten a makeover.

With only a month to go, the new sign for the "Late Show with Stephen Colbert" was finally unveiled Friday.

The iconic marquee had been under wraps since the studio underwent renovations for the show.

Colbert is taking over for David Letterman, who hosted the late night show for 33 years.

Colbert also announced who his first guest will be on Friday.

George Clooney, who was one of Letterman's last guests, will join Colbert when the show premieres on Sept. 8.
