8/10 CBS2 Monday Morning Weather Headlines

Good Monday morning all... new week, and a new weather pattern! Changes are on the way from the nice weather we had over the weekend. Expect a few areas of drizzle and maybe a few showers this morning, but there will be breaks of sun through the day. It will be warm with a high of 81.

Expect a few afternoon showers and rumbles but the bigger story will be early Tuesday morning. Looks like in the pre-dawn hours there could be some soaking thunderstorms. While we do need the rain, some of the storms could pack enough of a punch to create local flooding concerns. There will be a bit of a break with sunshine and a high of 85 before another round of storms moves through in the late afternoon. Again, some storms could be heavy.

Sunshine will return Wednesday and continue through Friday, and the temps will be nice too - low to mid 80s with very little humidity.
