Cops: Men Spent Weekend Ripping Off High-End Manhattan Retailers

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD has asked the public for help in identifying two men wanted in connection with a pair of Grand Larcenies that took place in Manhattan.

On Saturday, March 7, at 4:15 p.m., two men entered the Hermes store at 691 Madison Avenue. The men proceeded to the lower level, where one removed a handbag from a display and the other acted as a lookout.

On Sunday, March 8, 3:25 p.m., a man took a pair of women's handbags from the Salvatore Ferragamo store at 655 5th Ave.

Both suspects have been described as white males.

Anyone with information regarding this incident has been asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
