8/13 CBS2 Thursday Afternoon Weather Headlines

Looks like our skies will stay mainly sunny this afternoon with temps warming to right around 83°.

High pressure will push just to our south tonight. This will allow for clear skies and generally light winds around the area. Temps will fall to around 68° by sunrise.

We'll hang on to nice weather for another day. We'll see a few more clouds push into the area, but overall, it's looking like a nice one. As for temps, expect it to be a little warmer... mid to upper 80s.

A cold front will approach on Saturday. And while it looks like we'll stay mainly quiet, a few isolated storms could work their way into our area... 30% chance farther N&W. It will be a little warmer with a high right around 90°.

As for Sunday, it looks like another hot and humid one with generally quiet conditions.
