8/14 CBS2 Friday Evening Weather Headlines

Good evening everyone,

What a beauty today. We started off in the upper 60s in NYC and the surrounding boroughs, with those in the burbs away from the water, saw some upper 50s. We climbed high today with temps topping off at 88° in NYC.

It's going to be a beauty tonight with a mild city night not getting out of the low 70s around the boroughs. We really kick up the heat with temps climbing into the 90s Saturday and the 90s Sunday with PLENTY of humidity both days.

Monday could be the peak heat with temps in the low to mid 90s, while Tuesday looks hot... again.
