8/15 CBS2 Saturday Afternoon Weather Headlines

Good Afternoon!

Another great weekend around the region, but it's gonna be a warm one. Expecting a high of 90 in the city, with mid 80s along the coast and in the mountains. There is a slight chance of a passing shower/storm north and west, mainly in our far northern viewing area. Most will be staying dry and it's looking like a fantastic beach day!

Mainly clear tonight with a few clouds around. It stays mild, with a low of 74 in Central Park. A similar story unfolds for tomorrow, with highs in the low 90s and a bump up in the humidity.

Monday looks like it will be the hottest day with highs well into the low and mid 90s, 93 for NYC. It'll be feeling quite muggy as well with the return of humid conditions. The summer heat continues right into Tuesday, with another day of temps around 90.

Should we hit 3 or more days above 90, this would be the first official heat wave of the season for the city. So stay tuned and check back in soon for the latest!
