Man's Body Found Floating In East River Near Brooklyn Bridge
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man's body was found floating in the East River Sunday morning offshore from Brooklyn Bridge Park.
Around 10:14 a.m., police responded to a call of a person floating in the East River. He was taken by the FDNY to Pier 1 off Old Fulton Street in Brooklyn, police said.
The 22-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The New York City Medical Examiner's office will determine the cause of his death, police said.
