WATCH: Yankees Starter CC Sabathia Has To Be Held Back Outside Toronto Nightclub

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- CC Sabathia didn't pitch this weekend in Toronto, but he still managed to see some action.

In a video posted on TMZSports.com on Monday afternoon, the Yankees' starter was seen shouting outside EFS, a Toronto nightclub

According to the website, the ugly incident took place early on Saturday morning, after New York beat the Blue Jays in dramatic fashion.

In the video, the 6-foot-7 left-hander can be seen yelling and pointing. He was held back, and before anything disastrous happened he was thrown into a taxi.

"I just flipped out, ya know?" Sabathia said, according to the New York Daily News. "I could have handled it better. But I had my cousin and my friends there with me. He helped me out a lot. I think I was definitely lucky the other night, though, that I had friends to push me in a cab and cared enough about me to get me out of that situation."

The six-time All-Star was scheduled to pitch on Monday night, but he'll instead take the rubber on Tuesday night against the Twins at Yankee Stadium.

Bryan Mitchell will take Sabathia's place in the series opener vs. Minnesota.

"(I'm) glad I ended up getting in the cab before everything that went down," Sabathia said, according to the Daily News. "Just a bad decision on my part."
