Good Evening All,

I Hope your having a nice day! It's another hot one around here with temps in the low 90s inland with NYC just hitting the 90-degree mark. So officially, the heat wave rolls on.

Air Quality Alert is in effect until 11 p.m. We do have the enhanced risk for storms this afternoon but mainly to the north and west of metro NYC. A few storms rolled though early this morning as a spike in humidity allowed them to rumble on.

We could see some more storms overnight as the same situation is forecast.  Really though, we cannot rule out a shower or storm at any point this week.

The peak period for wet weather looks to be late Thursday into early Friday.
