8/24 CBS2 Monday Morning Weather Headlines

Good Monday morning everybody! It's gonna be a muggy day with more late August warmth. Looking for a high of 86 in NYC, feeling more like 90 with the humidity. There will be a few showers/rumbles possible from time to time, mainly east of NYC.

It's the same deal Tuesday with a few mid-day showers, followed by late afternoon/evening clearing as a cold front finally works through. While temps won't drop too far the rest of the week, the humidity will plunge!

Stunningly beautiful weather takes shape Wednesday through Sunday as high pressure takes firm control. We'll have plenty of sun and temps in the middle 80s.
