Jerry Recco sure knows what he is doing when it comes to the update game and he put his skills to good use Tuesday morning, after the Mets exploded for 16 runs in Philadelphia.
After falling behind 7-2 and having their ace Jacob deGrom sent to the showers before the third inning, David Wright and company kept the pedal to the metal and scored 14 unanswered runs to get the win.
Jerry started with the red-hot Mets and their record-breaking night on the diamond before moving on to the Yankees, who managed a 1-0 win over the Astros in the Bronx. Craig took issue with John Sterling's final call of the game, calling it misleading, while Boomer and Jerry disagreed.
