Craig "the Mets fan" declared today a day to celebrate. This after "his" first-place Mets (70-56) eclipsed the Yankees (69-57) in the record department following their 9-4 win in Philly -- the Amazins' sixth straight victory.
As for the Yanks, they lost a Wednesday afternoon affair to the Astros by a score of 6-2 and because of that now trail the juggernaut Toronto Blue Jays by two games in the AL East.
So after mixed results, it was up to the Dynamic Radio Duo to start your Thursday morning off right regardless of which team you root for, and to quote the one and only Al Dukes, they "nailed it!"
