8/28 CBS2 Friday Evening Weather Headlines

Good evening everyone!

It's been a week of spectacular weather. This has been a simply fantastic stretch of blue skies and comfortable temps. The last five days have been just great.

This weekend, we will experience milder temps in the upper 80s, pushing 90° on Sunday. Monday, temps will be in the low 90s again as we switch to the warm side of high pressure!

Tuesday and Wednesday are hot again with both days at, or just shy of 90 degrees. If we hit another three days of 90 in a row, we will have our second heatwave of the season.

We look ahead to Tropical Storm Erika's remains by late in the week.
