8/29 CBS2 Saturday Morning Weather Headlines

Good morning!

I hope you are all having a safe and happy start to the weekend. We started off in the 50s for some of the outlying 'burbs this morning -- mid-60s closer to the water. We will all warm up into the 80s by afternoon.

Tonight will be milder -- not dropping below the 70-degree threshold around the boroughs. This mild start will allow for a great jump start to hit 90 by Sunday afternoon.

Monday looks warm again at 91, and Tuesday is just as hot, if not hotter.

We watch TS Erika for its track and intensity. There is the chance it could effect our weather in the Northeast.
