Police: Masked Man Rapes Woman At Gunpoint In Canarsie

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are searching for a man who they said raped a 19-year-old woman at gunpoint in Brooklyn.

It happened around 12:30 a.m. Saturday on Rockaway Parkway in Canarsie.

The victim told police she was walking alone when she was suddenly grabbed and dragged into a dark alley with a gun pointed at her back, 1010 WINS' Carol D'Auria reported. She was raped behind 1911 Rockaway Pkwy., police said.

The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital.

The victim told police the suspect had a white T-shirt wrapped around his head and white mask covering his mouth, D'Auria reported. He was  wearing a white tank top and blue Hawaiian print shorts.
