NYPD: Woman Dies After Being Thrown Off Motorcycle, Struck By 2 Minivans In Queens

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A Brooklyn woman was killed after she was thrown off a motorcycle and struck by two cars in Queens, police said.

The accident occurred on the westbound Belt Parkway near Exit 17 in Lindenwood around 10:30 p.m. Monday.

A 28-year-old man was on the motorcycle heading west when he lost control in a curve and struck the center median, police said.

Both the man and his 22-year-old passenger, Sade Eversley, were thrown off the bike in the crash, police said.

A white older model minivan tried to swerve around them, but ended up hitting Eversley while she was on the ground, police said. The vehicle then fled the scene.

Eversley was then run over by another minivan, which stayed at the scene.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 28-year-old motorcyclist suffered minor injuries and was taken to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition.

No arrests have been made.

The investigation is ongoing.
