Pope's Fiat In NYC Generates Buzz For Eco-Friendly Car
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The pope's Fiat got a lot of attention in New York City this week.
But did that translate into Fiat sales? Over at Fiat of Manhattan, they've been getting calls from potential customers who had been watching Pope Francis ride around in his papal Fiat.

"They're just asking typical questions: price, why the pope's in it," one salesman told 1010 WINS' Roger Stern.
The salesman, who didn't want to be identified because he's not authorized to speak for the dealership, said it's only natural that an environmentally conscious pope would drive an eco-friendly vehicle.

Peter, who was at the dealership to purchase his third Fiat, applauded the pope's taste.
"I do. They're good cars," he said.
And in case you were wondering, the model the pope was riding in was a Fiat 500L.
