WATCH: Yankees Fan Awkwardly Drops 3 Balls At The Stadium
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- It was a rough night for the Yankees on Tuesday.
It was an even rougher night for one unlucky fan at Yankee Stadium.
Sitting in the first row on the third-base side to watch the Bombers take on the rival Red Sox, a fan missed three opportunities to snag a ball cleanly.
His first chance came on a fly ball, but it awkwardly slipped through his fingers. Then a ground ball went in his direction, but it ricocheted off his chest.
In an attempt to make up for the blunders, a sympathetic ball boy flipped the fan a souvenir. To cap off the evening, he missed the soft toss.
All's well that ends well, though. The fan picked up the ball and, thankfully, no more came his way.
