The Yankees had Masahiro Tanaka on the mound on Wednesday night against the Red Sox in the Bronx and it did not go as planned.

Tanaka allowed four runs in his five innings, but it was the bullpen that was really to blame, starting with Dellin Betances, continuing with Andrew Bailey, right on down the line to Chasen Shreve. When the dust finally settled, the Yanks lost 9-5 in 11 innings, leaving them still hunting for a wild card.

So, Boomer and Craig were busy breaking down the plight of the Bombers while opening things up Thursday, a morning where the Dynamic Radio Duo was a little sleep deprived after a late night of being honored.

The Mets played down in Philadelphia and after jumping out to a five-run first inning lead, ended up falling to the Phillies 7-5. The story coming out of this game was not about the result, but rather the hand of one Yoenis Cespedes after he got plunked in the third inning. Tests were negative and all indications are that Cespedes will be back sooner rather than later, but Craig the Mets fan couldn't help but be concerned.

Speaking of concern, Craig is beginning to worry about his own health based on the fact that he gets very little sleep.
