It may have taken a little longer than most fans liked, but the Yankees clinched a playoff berth Thursday night with a 4-1 win over the Red Sox.  The win not only clinched their 52nd postseason appearance, but it also marked the 10,000th victory in the franchise's storied history.

Boomer and Craig were all over the Bombers' accomplishment to start Friday's show.  The Yankees, of course, join their crosstown rivals in the postseason, as the NL East champion Mets prepare to take on the Dodgers in the NLDS starting Oct. 9.

Later, Boomer mocked Craig's miniature popcorn machine and we had a pretty good edition of Thursday Night Football that saw the Ravens beat the Steelers, 23-20 in overtime.
