With October baseball is about to start for real in New York, Jerry Recco upped the intensity on Monday, producing yet another entertaining and informative update.
The Yankees lost to the Orioles 9-4 on Sunday but still secured home-field advantage in the AL Wild Card game. They will take on Dallas Keuchel and the Houston Astros on Tuesday night. Masahiro Tanaka will take the ball on 'Tanaka Tuesday" for the Bombers. Tell your friends, tell your friends.
The Mets managed to eke out a 1-0 win over the Nats in the regular season finale, and will next travel to Los Angeles to take on the Dodgers in the NLDS. Game 1 is on Friday.
On the gridiron the Jets and Giants were both victorious. Gang Green downed the Dolphins 27-14 in London, while Big Blue took care of the Bills up in Buffalo, 24-10.
