Search On For Suspect In Bushwick Robbery, Sexual Assault

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police released a sketch Saturday of a suspect in the robbery and sexual assault of a woman in Bushwick, Brooklyn.

Just after midnight Thursday morning, the 22-year-old woman was walking into a building on Evergreen Avenue in Brooklyn, when a suspect came up from behind wielding a kitchen knife, police said.

The suspect forced the woman onto the fourth floor landing, where he took her pocketbook and forced her to commit a sex act on him, police said.

The suspect ran off, police said. The woman was treated and released from an area hospital, police said.

The suspect was described as a black male in his mid- to late 20s, standing 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet 2 inches tall, and weighing 180 to 190 pounds.
