Cops: 3 Men Stole $5,000 During Armed Robbery At Bronx Barbershop

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Three men are wanted in connection with a violent robbery in the Bronx.

Police said after entering a barber shop located at 500 East Tremont Ave. around 2:10 p.m. on Oct. 6, one of the suspects struck a male barber in the head with a gun.

The men then took $5,000 in cash, two smartphones, an American Express card and car keys, according to authorities.

The suspects fled the scene in a dark-colored BMW driven by a fourth unidentified suspect, police said.

The barber who was struck in the head refused medical attention at the scene. Police said another barber in the shop at the time was uninjured.

Authorities released surveillance video of two of the suspects with the hope that someone will come forward and identify them.
