A retired gentleman named "Joe" from Marlboro, New Jersey, gave Boomer and Craig a call Wednesday morning to ask why the Mets didn't try to pitch-out a couple of times during the World Series to try to prevent the Royals from running wild.
From there, Craig told Joe there was rule change back in 1990, forbidding pitch-outs in World Series play and poor Joe bought it hook, line and sinker.
Considering Joe was from New Jersey, another loyal listener who also happens to govern the state, Chris Christie, felt obligated to call and try to set the record straight.
