Boomer & Carton: Ron Darling Stops By To Talk All Things Mets

Subscribe to the Boomer & Carton Podcast »

With the World Series behind us, Ron Darling made the trip to lower Manhattan on Thursday morning to chat with Boomer and Craig about the Mets.

The discussion started with reaction to Terry Collins' decision to allow Matt Harvey start the ninth inning of now-infamous Game 5.

The guys also picked Darling's brain about the Mets offseason, focusing primarily on Daniel Murphy and Yoenis Cespedes. They also discussed Terry Collins' two-year contract extension and the future of David Wright.

Darling then talked about how much he enjoys working with Keith Hernandez on SNY and addressed partner Gary Cohen's comments about the aforementioned Daniel Murphy, which didn't sit well with the majority of the fans.

Darling also took advantage of the opportunity to plug his foundation, aptly named Ron Darling Foundation, which is preparing to host its annual poker tournament.
