Police Seek 2 Armed Men In Violent Robbery At Merrick Five Guys Restaurant

MERRICK, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Long Island are searching for two men after a violent robbery in Merrick.

As WCBS 880's Sophia Hall reported, police said the two armed men stormed into the Five Guys burger joint around 11 p.m. They said one of the suspects hit an employee in the head and stole cash before fleeing.

No customers were in the restaurant at the time.

The 25-year-old worker was taken to the hospital, where he was treated for minor injuries.
