Cops: One Dead After SUV Collision On NJ Roadway

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) --  One woman was killed after two sports utility vehicles went off the roadway in a crash on a New Jersey roadway, police said.

Pauline Camarota, 62, failed to stop at a stop sign of Fernwood Avenue in Egg Harbor Township, police said. Camarota's SUV collided with another SUV which was traveling eastbound on West Jersey Avenue.

The crash sent both vehicles off the roadway, with Camrota's vehichle striking a tree, authorities said. Camarota was flown to a hospital, but died there shortly after.

The other driver, Abigail Dingman, 17, and her passenger were not seriously injured, officials said.

Police said the crash occurred at around 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

The crash under investigation.
