11/27 CBS2 Friday Evening Weather Headlines

By Matt DeLucia
CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good evening, folks! What a beauty it was out there today for that holiday shopping. We climbed to 64 in Central Park and most places ran about 10-15 degrees above normal for this time of year. A cold front will be moving through early tomorrow, but while temps will be dropping, they'll actually be closer to normal for this time of year by Sunday. We've certainly been spoiled this month!

Clouds will be on the increase overnight with temps bottoming out in the 40s across the region. By dawn, we'll likely be seeing some sprinkles out there, especially north and west of the city.

Saturday is looking mainly cloudy with some passing showers. It will by no means be a washout, but you'll probably want to have the umbrella if you'll be walking around. While we really need the rain, it won't help our deficit much... which is now over 9 inches for the year! Still above normal tomorrow, with highs in the mid and upper 50s.

Sunday looks drier and cooler, with temps in the 40s for most... 50 in the city. Mostly sunny skies will then start off the work week, but it'll be on the chilly side with highs only in the low and mid 40s. Our next chance of some decent rain arrives midweek.

Have a great night!
